Winners of Essay Writing Competition Announced
The winners of an essay writing competition at the Department of English Language & Literature have been announced. During a ceremony on Monday, pupils who had taken part in the competition received their certificates.
Nearly 80 essays on the following topics were handed in:
• What makes someone a good person?
• What is most important in life?
• The effects of social media on young people.
• The significance of sports in life.
The three winners of the competition are: Ismayil Faradzli (school 157- first place), Alihadi Khanegahi (school 189-190- second place) and Vusale Asadova (school 156- third place).
