The master’s degree in Management Information Systems offers fundamentals of the design, analysis and application of computers. Students explore the application of computerized information systems, including web technologies to run a modern technology-based business. The Web, via e-commerce, has created a revolution in consumer-to-business and business-to-business transactions. The business analyst of the future must be able to identify how web-based technologies can be applied to solving existing and new problems and how to leverage technology to realise strategic opportunities. Students will receive exposure to networking and data communications, database management systems, distributed computing and to various systems analysis and design development strategies.
Students undergo a pre-graduation internship and defend a graduation thesis to receive a degree.
Upon successfully completing the programme, graduates pursue careers in telecommunications, computing, aerospace, transportation industries, government agencies, etc.
